After breakfast and meeting up with your tour guide and driver, we will set off for Altanbulag sum, found in Tov province. After travelling 100km, we will arrive at out destination where we will have dinner. After getting acquainted to the family and their daily routines, you will start your Mongolian herding trip with your 3-night Mongolian family and you will be able to relax in your Mongolian home.

/ Herder family- Black Series Trail

Waking up in a Luxury travel trail between the Mongolian ger in a completely new environment is definitely something surreal. We will prepare a normal Mongolian breakfast and tea, which we will enjoy in the cool breeze of the steppes.  After breakfast, you will learn how to milk various animals, prepare milk curds and yogurt. In the afternoon, we will visit a Bulash built during the Turkic period. We will then spend the rest of the day learning to play the traditional games that nomads enjoy.

/ Herder family- Black Series Trail /

On the day before, we will have gotten familiarized with the family as well as our traditions and customs. Before noon, our host will teach us how to treat animals, sheep, goats, and horses. After that, we will have a traditional Mongolian lunch called Khorkhog, a dish best described as pressure cooked mutton. We will also make our own milk and milk products for our host family to use in the future. After dinner, we will interest you in our national sport, wrestling and spend an evening showing it to you as well.

After saying your final farewells to the host family, we will set of for Karakorum in the morning after we have had breakfast. German archaeologists discovered the forgotten ancient city. Other than the ancient city of Karakorum (Kharkhorin), there is the buddhist Erdenezuu Monastery.

/Tourist camp /

After another delicious breakfast, we will head off for Ulaanbaatar before going to Terelj. We will visit a national park which boasts a beautiful mountainous terrain, that is approximately 2664 m above sea level. We will also visit a boulder which visibly resembles a turtle where we will take photos and videos before heading off to Ariyabal Monastery.

In the morning, we will depart to Ulaanbaatar. We will visit world-famous cashmere stores here, and have lunch on the way. When we arrive in the capital, you will have dinner with your tour guide and driver, then spend the night at your hotel.
